Pate stuffed mushrooms

These pate stuffed mushrooms are really easy to make. They are perfect as a starter or part of a party buffet

Ingredients

  • 12 mushrooms
  • 200 g pate
  • 4 sage leaves
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or sunflower oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200C, Gas mark 6
  • Remove the stalks from the mushrooms and chop into bits
  • Chop the herbs and mix with the mushroom stalks and pate
  • Brush the mushrooms with melted butter or oil
  • Fill with the pate mixture
  • Place mushrooms on a baking tray and bake for 20 -30 minutes until they are soft
