Almond and banana pinwheels

Ingredients

  • Leftover Puff Pastry
  • Mashed banana
  • Smoked almond spread
  • I egg whisked for eggwash

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 180C, Gas Mark 4
  • Roll out the pastry to a sheet about 2mm thick
  • Spread on a thin layer of smoked almond spread
  • Spoon over the banana to make a think layer
  • Roll up the sheet of pastry and cut into strips about 1cm thick
  • Brush each pinwheel with egg wash
  • Bake for about 20 - 25 minutes until baked though and golden.

Notes

You can replace the bananas and smoked almond spread with whatever is in the store cupboard.
