Home made baked beans

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 500 g passata
  • 2 tsp tomato purée
  • 400 g tin cannellini beans
  • 400 g tin haricot beans

Instructions

  • Heat the oil on a pan.
  • Peel and chop the onions and garlic finely and add to the pan.
  • Cook until soft
  • Add the paprika then stir in the passata and tomato purée
  • Bring to the boil then add the beans
  • Cook for ten to fifteen minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper to season
