Butterscotch Sauce with Cornflowers

Ingredients

  • 250 ml cream
  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • handful cornflower petals

Instructions

  • Place the ingredients into a pan and bring to the boil, stirring all the time.
  • Simmer on a low heat until the sauce thickens.
  • Leave to cool
