Oat and Strawberry Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 6 oz 170g margarine
  • 6 oz 170g granulated sugar
  • 3 level tablespoons syrup
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 6 oz 170g plain flour
  • 8 oz 225g rolled oats
  • 2 strawberry Fruit Hero bars

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350F, 180C, Gas Mark 4.
  • Put the margarine, sugar and syrup in a pan and warm gently until the sugar dissolves.
  • Remove from heat
  • Add the oats, flour and chopped up fruit hero bars into the pan and stir until well mixed.
  • Allow to cool then roll the mixture into small balls between floured palms and place on a greased baking tray.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
