Oat and Strawberry Biscuits

  • 6 oz 170g margarine
  • 6 oz 170g granulated sugar
  • 3 level tablespoons syrup
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 6 oz 170g plain flour
  • 8 oz 225g rolled oats
  • 2 strawberry Fruit Hero bars
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350F, 180C, Gas Mark 4.
  2. Put the margarine, sugar and syrup in a pan and warm gently until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Add the oats, flour and chopped up fruit hero bars into the pan and stir until well mixed.
  5. Allow to cool then roll the mixture into small balls between floured palms and place on a greased baking tray.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
