Vita Liberata pHenomenal Review

January 10, 2013

A while ago now I was sent some Vita Liberata pHenomenal to try. This is a fake tan range that contains only non-toxic ingredients and is meant to last 2-3 weeks. I have been meaning to try it for some time and now my thoughts are turning towards Spring it seemed the ideal time to give it a go. There is nothing worse than having pasty white arms in nice spring tops.

Vita Liberata pHenomenal Review

The Vita Liberata pHenomenal fake tan range was designed deliberately to be kind to sensitive skin, it moisturises when you apply it using a unique moisture lock system that brings the water to the skins surface and keeps it there.  In order to keep your skin soft it also contains the moisturising ingredients seaweed, ylang ylang and silk proteins.  The moisture lock system also ensures that the tan will fade evenly over 2-3 weeks.  To make the tab last longer is uses new technology called pHeno2 which works alongside the traditional tanning ingredient DHA.  Vita Liberata pHenomenal is also free from parabens, perfumes and alcohol. I do have sensitive skin so I do worry about using some products on it but this sounded like it would be ideal.

The Vita Liberata pHenomenal range is available in light, medium and dark. I was sent the medium to try along with a tanning mitt which makes application much easier.

Inside the box

Inside the box the Vita Liberata pHenomenal tanning mousse is in a brown bottle. It has a pump action type lid which makes it easy to apply just the amount you are looking for. The mousse has a dark colour which makes it easy to see where you have applied it. This makes it much easier to apply evenly. I was a bit worried when I first saw the mousse as it looked very dark but when it is applied to the skin it has a soft golden colour which looks very natural.

The Vita Liberata pHenomenal tanning mousse had a nice smell. Some fake tan can smell very unpleasant but this had a nice slightly floral smell that was not very strong. It doesn’t linger after application either which is good. I applied the tan and left it to develop. I was very pleased with the final result, it was a gentle golden tan that looked very natural. It also has lasted for ages, I have not quite had it on two weeks yet but it still looks good and not patchy. It would be ideal to apply if you are going on holiday as it would last while you get a natural tan.
