TePe Angle Interdental Brush Review

July 23, 2013

An essential part of keeping your teeth clean is cleaning between the gaps. This is the part I hate, I find floss gets stuck in my teeth and falls apart into strands. I know it has got to be done but wonder if there is a better way. Recently I was sent a TePe Angle Interdental Brush to try.

TePe Interdental Brush

The TePe Interdental Brush is from Sweden and has been specially designed to help clean the gaps between teeth. It has a cleverly angled brush head which makes it easy to fit into the gaps between your teeth. The handle also has an ergonomic design which makes it a nice shape to hold and allows you to clean your teeth using controlled movements.

One packet of TePe Interdental Brushes contains six brushes. Each brush has different sized heads varying from the pink which is 0.4mm to the green which is 0.8mm. The brushes have plastic coated wire which protects the gums whilst cleaning.

To use the TePe brush it should be inserted into the gap between your teeth and moved about gently. The fit should be snug but not too tight and it is useful to have a range of different sizes to choose from. I found that the brush worked very well and I managed to remove a lot of debris from between my teeth. It did not hurt at all and the wire inside the brush moves so you can easily angle it. My teeth felt much cleaner after using it and I am sure that it removed much more debris that flossing does. They were really easy to use as well.

TePe Interdental brushes are RRP £4.99 for a pack of six. You can obtain them from Tesco and dental practices.

Disclosure: I was sent some TePe Interdental brushes in order to do an honest review. I was not told what to write an my opinions are my own.
