Personalised wine from MenKind is a great way to celebrate a special occasions such as an anniversary or birthday. The personalised label is a thoughtful touch.
There are many occasions that call for a bottle of wine. Birthdays, anniversaries, special family meals and other occasions can all be toasted with a glass. Make the occasion even more special with a bottle of wine personalised uniquely for the person in your life. Personalised wine from MenKind is a great way to show you care, the label is modified to fit the recipient.
Did you know that my blog will be six in August? It is hard to believe that this little corner of internet has been mine that long. A space where I share recipes, days out and experiences with my family. I never thought anyone would read it. Happily people did and I have made some lovely friends though my blog. I would like to thank each one of you for taking the time to read and comment.
I have learnt so much on my blogging journey. Looking back at some of my early posts you can really see the difference. Since then my photography and writing skills have got much better and I have learnt so much more about the technicality of running a blog. It is so much more complex than I ever thought. There is always something new to discover. The challenge is part of the fun, it is a way to keep learning and to stay young. In the words of C.S Lewis:
“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream”.
What better way to celebrate a blog anniversary than with a bottle of wine? MenKind have a wide range of original gifts and gadgets for men as well a selection of personalised items. They asked me if I wanted to try their personalised wine with an anniversary label (£21.99). I couldn’t wait to see what it looked like.
The bottle comes in a gift box and nestles inside a red satin interior which speaks of luxury. The packaging makes the gift appear really special, as if a lot of thought has been put into it. The personalisation is in the label. The top of the label has space for a name. In my case I used my blog name, Dragons and Fairy Dust. You could easily use the names of the two people whose anniversary it is for. The maximum length is 25 characters.
At the bottom of the label you can add a message. This can be up to 80 characters long and in my case I used my blog tag line. Finally you can add the number of years in the middle of the label which says “Celebrating x years together”. This goes from 1 to 110, I would love to know how often 110 is used!
The wine itself is a crisp Sauvignon Blanc which is light and refreshing with a hint of grapefruit and gooseberry. It is perfect to serve with a special meal or just enjoyed in a glass on its own. Even better the label is made from special inks and paper that will last. The bottle can be kept as a memento after the wine has gone. When I drink the wine I will be using the bottle for a candle holder but there are plenty of other craft ideas for empty wine bottles. I saw a bird feeder that had been made from an old wine bottle the other day.
I think anyone would be pleased to get a bottle of this wine as a gift. If you prefer a different tipple then MenKind have a range of different alcoholic beverages from gin to beer. They also have personalised labels for different occasions.

I was sent a bottle of wine to try out but was not obliged to say anything nice. My opinions are my own.
