Nano-B Toothbrush Review

January 14, 2014

I am always on the lookout for the perfect toothbrush. The one that will keep my teeth and gums clean without causing them to bleed. I am very conscious of the fact that I am getting older and am more likely to get gum and tooth problems now. A while ago I was sent  some Nano-B toothbrushes to try out. These are naturally antibacterial toothbrushes which have been designed to give your teeth and gums a great clean.

Nano-B toothbrushThe toothbrushes come in rather nice transparent tubes with Nano-b inscribed on the outside. The first thing you will notice is that the lid of the tube have banners with gold and silver written on. This is because each Nano-B toothbrush is coated with edible gold or silver and charcoal nano particles. These provide the antibacterial properties of the toothbrush, killing 99.9% bacteria. This means that your brush is clean every time you pick it up to use it.

The brushes look pretty as well, they have a lovely transparent design which has been shaped so they sparkle when they catch the light. It makes the brush look very stylish on my bathroom shelf and it is really easy to use as well, it fits perfectly into the hand.

The bristles are where the magic happens, if you look you can see the head is made up of different sized bristles. There are long slim bristles which get between the teeth providing a flossing effect. The shorter bristles clean the outside of the tooth thoroughly. The long slim bristles are also very gentle on the gum line as well as providing a deeper cleaning experience.
nano-b4I love using this brush, when I brush my teeth they feel really clean afterwards. I have noticed that they manage to remove more particles from between my teeth, leaving less debris for the floss to pick up. I love the really clean feeling that they leave in my mouth, normally I only get that after my teeth have been cleaned by the dentist.  My gums are less sensitive and not bleeding which they used to do.

One other thing I have noticed about this brush is it seems to last really well. After a month I find my normal toothbrush looks really worn and shabby. This brush still looks and feels like new. I am also happy to leave it out in the bathroom, knowing that the bristles are killing any bacteria that might lurking. These brushes are more expensive than normal brushes but well worth the extra.

Nano-B brushes are £7.99 and you can find more information and buy them on the website:

Disclosure: I was sent some Nano-B brushes in return for an honest review.

I love the idea of them being antibacterial – I often worry about the kids’ toothbrushes and pop them through the dishwasher regularly!
