John Cotton Complete Bed Bundle Review

November 7, 2013

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat. It is a time for families to be together and often you find that you have plenty of guests over the Christmas period. Often these visitors end up staying overnight and this is where you find that you need spare bedding.

Recently I was sent this John Cotton Complete Bed Bundle to review. It is the perfect bundle of bedding for those unexpected guests. It comes in its own sack for storage purposes and comes as either a double, king size or a single set. The single set comes with a duvet, one pillow, mattress protector and pillow protector. The double and king size sets have a duvet, two pillows with pillow protectors and a mattress protector. The storage bag itself is a festive red colour, I have to admit I felt a bit like Santa carrying it about.

Everything is stored neatly inside the bag which can be put away when the guests leave. It is a bit of a challenge getting everything back in the bag quite as neatly but that is always a problem with these things.

The duvet is 13.5 tog so it is lovely and warm for these cold nights. The whole set is Anti-Allergy so you know that your guests will be comfortable. It is great to have a spare set of bedding for when you need it. In my case I am going to use it when my parents come and stay so they have crisp fresh bedding that smells clean.
The John Cotton Complete Bed Set is available at Argos. It is RRP £44.99 for the king size, £39.99 for the double and £29.99 for the single set. I did notice they are currently half price.

  1. That’s a great thing to have as a standby – and the price is really good 🙂

That’s a reasonable price for both sizes. Although I’d hope they did lower togs too as 13.5 would be way too warm for our house.
