Indulge Yourself with Rachel’s Divine Desserts

October 14, 2014

Now the days are closing in it is getting dark earlier and the wind is blowing outside. It is time to shut the curtains and take a moment to pamper yourself. There is something about running yourself a nice warm bath, lighting a scented candle and curling up with a good book that seems more indulgent when it is dark and cold outside. Even better if you have a sweet treat to enjoy, something soft and creamy and gorgeous. Recently Rachel’s got in touch with me and asked if I would like to try their new Rachel’s Divine Desserts. They kindly sent me some lovely treats so I could treat myself whilst trying their desserts.

Rachel's Divine DessertsThere were two packs of Rachel’s Divine Desserts, in chocolate and vanilla to try. There was also a cosy pair of socks, perfect now the weather is so cold, some tea lights, some gorgeous bath melts and a beautiful spoon to eat the desserts with. The spoon even had my name on so everyone knows it is mine. There was also a little bottle that looked like it came from Alice in Wonderland, labelled Drink Me.

I waited for a night when I could have a little peace. I managed to stop my son eating the desserts, but it was difficult. I then enjoyed a bath, put on my cosy socks and got my personalised spoon and sat down to try a dessert.Rachel's Divine DessertsI tried the vanilla first and opened the lid to reveal a gorgeous creamy looking dessert. Rachel’s Divine Desserts are made from organic ingredients, nothing artificial, and you can really tell this in the taste. The dessert was melting and creamy, with a soft vanilla taste that was just right. Divine is the right word. The little glass container was ideal for putting the tea lights in afterwards.

Rachel's Divine DessertsThe chocolate pot was equally indulgent, a lovely chocolate taste that is ideal if you crave a sweet fix. My favourite was the vanilla, but my son preferred the chocolate. Luckily there were two pots in each pack, so I was able to share them with him.

Rachel's divine dessertsThe drink I kept for myself however, it turned out to be Prosecco, which went perfectly with the desserts and made me feel really pampered.

Rachel’s Divine Dessert’s are available in Ocado, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose. You can find more information on Rachel’s website.

I was sent the desserts in return for an honest review.

I have tried a vanilla one, definitely lush. Haven’t bought a chocolate variety yet.

I couldn’t make up my mind which I liked most. Loved the spoon and chocolate – haven’t posted mine yet. Better get on to it!
