I was recently sent some Fade Out White Protecting Day Cream to try out. I was looking forward to trying it as I have tried other creams from this range and have been impressed. The range is affordable and works to reduce pigmentation problems in skin like freckles, age spots and hyper-pigmentation, leaving you with a youthful glow. The Fade Out White Protecting Day Cream does this using a range of natural ingredients like mulberry and liquorice and is meant to show visible results in four weeks. In addition to this it also contains SPF 15 so that you know your skin is being protected from the sun while you are out.
To enable the Fade Out White Protecting Day Cream to lighten your skin it contains Niacinamide. This works in conjunction with the other natural ingredients in the cream to prevent melanin entering the upper layers of the skin. Melanin is the brown pigment in the skin and its production is increased on exposure to sunlight. Preventing it entering the upper skin layers will help to fade dark spots as well as preventing them forming.
It all sounded pretty good so I tested it out to see what it was actually like.
The Fade Out White Protecting Day Cream is white in colour and it has a lovely creamy feel. It actually feels very luxurious when you use it and it glides on easily. It is not greasy at all, it feels very rich when you apply it but it quickly sinks into the skin leaving no residue behind. Interestingly the cream had a slight fruity taste. In case you are wondering I did not start eating the face cream but when I licked my lips I noticed the taste. I thought nothing of it at first, but when this happened on subsequent days I realised it must be the Fade Out White Protecting Day Cream. I suspect it is the mulberry that I could taste.
I normally have dry skin but after using the Fade Out White Protecting Day Cream for a couple of weeks my skin feels much better. It is no longer dry and feels lovely and smooth. I have a lot of freckles on my face and these have definitely started to fade. My skin feels much better after using this. I also noticed that a little bit of this cream goes a long way, I hardly seem to have used any of the pot. I also like the fact that it contains SPF 15. I often forget to put on sun cream when I am at work and it is nice to know that if I go out during the day then my face is protected from the ageing effects of the sun.
Fade Out White Protecting Day Cream is available in Boots and independent pharmacists. The RRP is £8.99 which is very reasonable given that it acts and feels like a luxury cream.
