DGJ Organics Hangover Hair range is a luxury shampoo and conditioner that is aimed at reviving hair that is dull stressed and tired. I had to smile when I saw the name of the range as it exactly described how my hair has been feeling recently, dull and bleary and not wanting to do as it is told. I was hoping this range would help.
DGJ stands for Daniel Galvin Junior, a celebrity hairdresser. He has developed his own range of hair products which use only natural cleansing agents and organic essential oils. They do not contain Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulphates or parabens. The Hangover Hair range uses organic lavender essential oils to sooth and revive the hair. I tried the Hangover Hair Shampoo and the Hangover Hair conditioner.
DGJ Organics Hangover Hair Shampoo
DGJ Orgnanics Hangover Hair shampoo comes in a plastic bottle with a purple label. The lid has a little button you press in to allow the shampoo to come out which is great as you can control the amount of shampoo you use easily. The bottle tells you more about the product and the ingredients. When poured onto your hand the shampoo is a clear liquid and it has a lovely lavender smell. I found the shampoo lathered up well and rinsed off easily leaving my hair feeling lovely and clean.
DGJ Organics Hangover Hair Conditioner
DGJ Organics Hangover Hair Conditioner comes in similar packaging to the shampoo. The conditioner is white in colour and again has a lovely lavender smell. On reading the instructions I found that you need to leave it on your hair for ten to fifteen minutes. I smoothed it into my hair and waited. Normally I use conditioners that you put in and then rub out so ten minutes did feel a long time. The result was worth it though. When I dried my hair after using these two products it was soft, full of bounce and a lot more manageable.
I was very happy with this shampoo and conditioner, they made a great difference to my hair. I have been using them regularly for a couple of weeks now and the improvement has continued. I did not like having to wait ten minutes for the conditioner to work, but I do not use conditioner every day so this was a minor issue. The thing I liked most though was the price. I thought these would be very expensive to buy but when I looked at the prices I was pleasantly surprised. DGJ Organics Hangover Hair Shampoo and DGJ Organics Hangover Hair Conditioner are RRP £5.99 for 250 ml.
