Did you know that Dettol recently did a survey that tested washed laundry and it found that bacteria linked with faeces can be found on 1 in 4 items of childrens washed clothes. Not a very nice fact to know and it makes you wonder what other germs may be lurking. These days we mostly wash clothes at 40C which means germs survive. They need at least 60C to ensure they are killed. If your children are like mine they frequently come home covered in mud and dirt which probably contains all sorts of germs.
Recently I was sent some Dettol Laundry Cleanser to try out. This is a new product that acts to cleanse your washing machine and clothes. It kills 99.9% bacteria even at low temperatures, even working at 15C. You just add a couple of caps to the fabric softener drawer when you do your wash. Dettol Laundry Cleanser is dermatologically tested so it is kind to your skin.
You can get Dettol Laundry Cleanser in Fresh Cotton and Soothing Lavender fragrances. Inside the bottle the Dettol Laundry Cleanser is light blue in colour and it has a lovely fresh smell. It makes the clothes smell nice as well and I have the confidence of knowing my clothes are really clean.
You can buy Dettol Laundry Cleanser in most major supermarkets RRP £4.59.
