CRU Kafe Organic Coffee

September 3, 2014

CRU Kafe Organic Coffee is a new speciality coffee that is fair trade and organic. If you have a Nespresso machine you may want to try these Nespresso compatible pods and enjoy a cup of coffee. CRU Kafe coffee is made with high altitude 100% Arabica coffee to deliver a sophisticated cup with plenty of taste.

CrucafeI received a packet of CRU Kafe Flat White to try, the packaging is sleek and sophisticated but not bulky and would look elegant on a shelf. The packet itself contains 12 pods, which are easy to recycle. They can be placed in the recycling bin along with other items.

Crucafe-2The coffee itself is a blend of three beans,  Peruvian, Ethiopian, and Indian. Each of the beans adds a distinctive note to the coffee the Peruvian is flowery, the Ethiopian is acid with cocoa notes while the Indian is more earthy and these work together to make a coffee that is full of flavour.  The beans are produced using traditional and certified organic farming procedures with only 100% natural ingredients. This means that no nasty chemicals can be found in the coffee.

Cru Kafe CoffeeCRU Kafe Flat White is described as being designed for body and a flavour that will cut though milk. This is certainly the case, it is smooth with a rich depth to the flavour. The addition of milk does not lessen the flavour of the coffee.  It is a lovely cup, with plenty of taste.

CRU Kafe organic coffee is available from the CRU Kafe website. You have the choice of signing up to a subscription services or buying the pods as a one-off. The pods are £11 for 24 pods and delivery is free or £10 if you buy them monthly. There are different pack sizes available and if you do not have a nespresso machine you can also buy coffee beans.  If you want a flavour filled cup of coffee which is also ethical and organic CRU Kafe may well be for you.

I was sent some CRU Kafe pods in return for an honest review.
