Branston Peanuts and Crackers

September 22, 2011

Branston pickle is Britain’s best loved pickle with more than 28 million jars of pickle sold each year! If you love pickle you can now enjoy it in a brand new snack, Branston Peanuts & Crackers.

The bag contains oven baked peanuts coated in the unique flavour of Branston, accompanied by tasty mini cheese crackers, the perfect snack for any pickle lover.  In fact it is almost a cheese and pickle sandwich in a bag, you wonder why this had not been thought of ages ago.

I was sent some of these to try, which I was more than happy to do being a bit of a cheese and Branston pickle lover.  When I opened the bag I was expecting round shape crackers and peanuts, so I was a bit surprised to find that the crackers were peanut shaped as well.

I have to say that they tasted really nice,  you can really taste the Branston but it is not overpowering and its complimented well by the accompanying cheese crackers.  The snack has a satisfying crunch and will leave you reaching for more.

This is the perfect snack for putting out at parties, and would also be perfect to have in the range of nibbles that everyone buys at Christmas to make it that bit more special.  The bag could also be taken and enjoyed on the go and of course they are prefect for settling down to watch a good film with. If you want a snack that’s a little bit different and tastes nice, this is definitely one to consider.

Branston peanuts and crackers come in a 90g bag. RRP £1.49

You will find them in Aldi, ASDA, Holland & Barrett, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose stores nationwide.
