Loch Ness, the loch of legends, seen in the distance. Still blue waters run deep, hiding secrets in the depths. The mysterious loch glistens between rolling hills which disappear into the distance, blue skies hanging over them. A place of beauty and enchantment.
A fleeting visit, looking over the waters edge. Watching, hoping to see the monster but it remains hidden. Lingering by the waters edge, breathing in the air fresh from the water. The air tastes fresher, highland air.
The waters edge is busy, people visiting and enjoying the sunshine. A few brave children paddle in the lake, the water is cold. A refreshing way to cool down on a hot day. The loch shimmers into the distance, waiting to be explored.
One day we will come back, able to spend more time and explore properly. Maybe the loch will reveal it’s secrets to us if we spend more time. We may find the monster sunning itself at the water’s edge, a fleeting glimpse before it slips back into the water and disappears forever. At the loch edge everything seems possible, a quiet moment in time to relax and let real life drift away. The scenery is worth the long drive, a moment in time captured forever by the lens.
