Tea India Review

One way to make this blogger happy is to send me tea (or chocolate). I was very happy when this parcel from Tea India arrived with a little note inviting me to take 30 minutes out of my day and enjoy a cup of tea.
Tea IndiaI didn’t need to be asked twice. Tea India is not a brand I have tried before so had a little look to find out more about them. Tea India is a unique blend of Assam tea and authentic spices, which aim to bring you a superior cup of tea which you can drink every day.

The first thing that caught my eye was the funky packaging, it looks bright and vibrant as well as being smart. It is different from other tea packets out there and really catches the eye. I was sent two different kinds of tea from the Tea India range, Black Tea and Vanilla Chai. I decided to try the black tea first.

Tea IndiaThis is described as a unique blend of the finest teas with a deliciously rich smooth flavour. The tea itself has a high Assam content. made with Assam tea from the banks of the Brahmaputra River. Tea India recommend this as an every day tea, perfect for drinking though out the day.

Inside the box you find the tea bags, nestled inside gold foil packs.

Tea IndiaThe tea inside looks much darker than the tea in my normal tea bags, probably why it is called black tea. When brewed up into a cup it has a lovely taste, it is a very flavourful tea with a lovely aromatic scent. It is a refreshing blend and I really enjoyed it.

The second box I was sent was Tea India Vanilla Chai. I have never tried a Chai before, a black tea with spice added to enhance the flavour.
Tea IndiaTea India Vanilla Chai is the winner of a Gold Great Taste Award and I can see why. The tea is a mix of tea with cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, ginger and black pepper added to give it its unique taste. I have to say this is gorgeous, it is a lovely warming cup of tea with a slight sweetness behind it. The spice is not over powering but add a very pleasant background taste. This is perfect for a relaxing afternoon cup of tea and has become a new favourite of mine.

My only disappointment with this tea is that currently there are no stockists anywhere near me. Tea India can be ordered online though. If you are looking for a lovely refreshing cup of tea definitely give this a try.
