Its a little bit late for a Christmas wishlist but this is my list of smart ideas for Christmas from Morphy Richards. It is now a New Year wishlist and I hope, by dropping subtle hints, I can get these items at some time though this year. There are lots of items that I would like but I actually picked the ones that I would get the most use out of in the kitchen. These are my top three items.
1. Premium Manual Breadmaker
I love baking and love making cakes. One of the things I would love to master but never got the hang of is making bread. I can do Soda Bread but that is not really the same. I dream of the house smelling of freshly baked bread and a warm loaf cooling in the kitchen. A breadmaker would help me achieve this dream. This looks really easy to use and makes three different sizes of loaf as well as jam which is another thing on my I wish I could make it list.
Hand Blender Set
One of the things I make a lot of is soup. I did wonder about a soup maker but then I realised the thing that is most annoying about making soup is having to get out my food processor, pour in the soup, process it and then put it back in the pan. With a hand blender I could blend it in the pan. This is a gadget I would get a lot of use out of and the splash of yellow would add some sunshine to my kitchen.
Partition Pot Slow Cooker
One of the gadgets I use all the time in the kitchen is my slow cooker. There is nothing better after a long day at work than coming home and finding your house smelling of food and a meal ready to serve in the slow cooker. What intrigued me about this one is that it has a partitioned pot so you can cook different things in the same cooker. I can imagine endless possibilities for this and would love to try it. I could cook dinner and pudding at the same time for example or two different meals one to suit me and one to suit my son. Its a great idea and I would love to try it. It has a 6 litre capacity so plenty of room inside.
Disclosure: This is my entry for the Foodies 100 Win Your Christmas Wish List competition.
