Alison Claire Remarkable Review

A little while ago I was sent a couple of products from the Alison Claire Remarkable product range to review. These are beauty products but they are described as products so pure you could eat them. I am a great fan of natural beauty products, having suffered with problems from sensitive skin in the past, so was looking forward to trying these. I must admit I did not try to eat them though! The booklet explains that all Alison Claire Remarkable products are free from Laurel Sulphate, Parabens, Phenoxyethanol and PEGs which are preservatives and foaming agents that can irritate the skin. The products are made with the highest quality ingredients and are blended by hand to produce very high quality products.

The two products I was sent were the Vanilla and Coconut Body Butter and the Lemongrass Foot Cream.

Vanilla and Coconut Body Butter

Alison Claire Remarkable Vanilla and Coconut Body Butter is made from naturally occurring vanilla pods and coconut oil. It also contains aloe vera and hibiscus to sooth the skin. The first thing I noticed on opening the pot was the natural white colour of the body butter.

The second thing I noticed was the smell, it is gorgeous. It has a lovely warming vanilla scent that lingers in the air. The cream has a lovely soft feel to it and it sinks into your skin really quickly with no trace of stickiness. My skin felt lovely and soft after application and the vanilla scent lingers on your skin for a while after application. My skin can feel dry but all traces of dryness vanished after using this body butter. It is really lovely, a touch of luxury for your skin.
Alison Claire Remarkable Vanilla and Coconut Body Butter is RRP £15

Lemongrass Foot Cream

This is very similar in appearance to the Vanilla and Coconut Body Butter, it is a white cream but this time it has a smell of lemongrass. The smell is subtle and refreshing. As well as lemongrass the Foot Cream contains shea butter, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and argan oil to soften and sooth your feet. The Lemongrass foot cream is absorbed quickly into the skin and leaves your feet feeling soft. There was no trace of stickiness after I applied it. My feet also felt slightly less tired after using this foot cream and it would be perfect for use if you are on your feet all day. The scent lingered nicely and was very refreshing and makes a change from the normal mint based foot cream products.

Alison Claire Remarkable Lemongrass Foot Cream is RRP £12 for 200 ml.
