I hope you are all good at keeping secrets as I am about to share one of mine. At the end of the month it is my parent’s Golden Wedding Anniversary and I have been looking around for a present to send them. When the opportunity arose to an review I-Pic Personalised Photo Frame it sounded like something that would make an ideal gift.
You are probably wondering what is I-Pic. It is a very clever idea, you chose a special photo that you want framing and then they take the photo and embed it in a special personalised frame. The frame is also magnetic so you can add it to your fridge or just stand it on the mantelpiece with the provided stand.
The site is really easy to use, when you start you have two options, you can either choose from a selection of frames from the frame library or design and paint your own. The frame library is really easy to use, you can make a selection from frames for different occasions
Once you have chosen your frame you get to upload the image you want to put in the frame and get to crop and scale it to the right size. This is really easy to do. You then get the option to personlise the frame by adding text to the front and back of it. As well as choosing the wording you can choose the style of font you want, the size and the colour. Before you move to the checkout it asks you if you are sure you have personalised it correctly and warns you that you will not be able to edit once you leave this screen. This is great for ensuring everything is correct before you pay. The checkout clearly shows the prices and offers you an option of upgrading to a metallic frame.
It was really easy to use and prices start at £14.99 and post and packaging is £2.50 (or free on orders over £40). My picture arrived very quickly, it was there the day after I ordered it which was excellent service.
So I am sure you are wondering how my photo turned out. This is it (I have blurred the faces and names deliberately as it is a secret). The frame has both their first names at the bottom.
On the back I opted for Golden Wedding Congratulations and under that is says love from with our names.
You can see the little hole on the back of the frame where you can place the stand or the frame is magnetic so it can be placed on the fridge. A little leaflet explains this.
What I didn’t expect was this little note that came with my picture.
It said “Congratulations” and they had upgraded my order to a metallic frame. I had totally missed the metallic frame tick box when I ordered and this was a lovely surprise. I am sure my parents will be very pleased. Shhh though, don’t tell.
You can find more information about I-Pics on their website http://www.ipic-uk.com. They are also on Facebook and Twitter
Disclosure: I was sent an I-Pic in order to do an honest review. I was not told what to write and all my opinions are my own.
