Today I feel grumpy. I blame technology. It is great having technology in your life, you can do so much with it. Without a computer I would not be able to blog, find out amazing facts about life and keep in touch with friends who are far away. I spend a lot of time using my computer, perhaps more than I should. Last night it decided to fail. As a result I feel very grumpy. While I was using it a blue screen of death appeared. I restarted windows and it will not restart. It will not restart under any mode, safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt, last know good configuration, safe mode for people who are fed up (OK I made that up) – none of it works.
I reached for my trusty windows install disks to repair windows and it gets half way though and then that dreaded blue screen appears. It sits there looking smug muttering things as me. Now I do not have a computer, I have a rather large paperweight sitting on my desk. I have things to do, I am not happy.
This weekend I am going to have to get geeky. I am going to have to remember how to make a windows boot disk to try and get a command prompt. I am going to have to find some chickens to sacrifice to the great computer gods of the world. I may even have to resort to a goat if it gets bad! (Not really of course). I will not be beaten by an object. It is going to take lots of time and guess what I feel grumpy thinking about it. Technology, its great until it fails.
In case you never hear from me again and my computer ends up with the great computer gods in the sky, here is a picture to contemplate while I throw my computer out of the window.

At least you know what to do to fix it. If I ever, god forbid, get the blue screen of death I’ll be completely baffled. I hope you get it fixed soon, you just don’t realise how much you rely on things until they go wrong. Lovely photograph as always. I love sunrises. Hope something goes right today to make up for all the frustrations. x
Aw thank you. I hope I do know what to do, I am currently trying to pretend I have a clue and look suitably geeky but I may well fail and be doomed forever!
Awww good luck, I had exactly the same problem earlier in the week. I spent 3 days trying to fix it, gave up just before throwing my computer out of the wndow, took it in for repairs and within an hour, it was all repaired ! lol
