It’s been a little while since my last exercise and diet update when I decided it was time to stop being lazy. I did actually make an effort, I managed to go on a run four times. Four times in two weeks is better than not going at all but it is still not what I should be doing. I was quite pleased that without running for such a long time I could still do a mile. The problem was that it is still very cold outside and although my legs could do the running, I was stopped by my asthma.
I had great plans to go on a long run this Saturday but when I woke up and looked outside large amounts of snow had appeared overnight.
It was actually really deep, just when I thought spring was on the way. The good news is that when I walked the dog this morning I noticed that it was much lighter. In fact it was light, I could see where I was going. It makes such a difference not to be going out in the dark and makes me feel more motivated. Hopefully if the snow goes I can get back on track this week.
I have been eating a bit too much as well so I need to make a determined effort to stop before all the weight creeps back on. I have managed to stay the same but unless I do something I will end up gaining again. I do not want that so it is really time to get moving. I am quite pleased I have not gained lots though.
I feel chilly just looking at that picture, I think you’re so dedicated to keep on with your exercise regime. Good luck to you! x
The snow’s back here too, roll on spring !
Well done for not gaining and all the running. Hopefully with the lighter nights coming and better weather you might be able to get out a little more.
well done on your running and good luck for next week xx
brrr we haven’t had snow here
well done on getting out and running. This weather is effecting all our efforts on the exercise front
I usually love the snow but I have to say I’m getting a little fed up of it now and just want spring to hurry on up! Well done on maintaining and good luck for next week
