Another week, another weigh in. As far as the running goes I have been really struggling this week. I mentioned last week that it was really dark in the mornings. It has been so dark it has just been too dangerous to run far. I can’t go any later as I have to go to work and I find running in the evening is much harder for some reason, due to the timing of meals. I struggled on but only managed around a mile on weekdays.
At the weekend though I did manage to go out a little later and it was much lighter. On Saturday when I went out it had been snowing! Snow, in October! There was not much but the paths were very slippery and the car has a light coating of snow. In spite of this I managed 1.98 miles. I was so annoyed I was 0.02 miles short of the 2 mile target I have been aiming for I went out on Sunday as well. This time I managed the 2 miles. I am dead pleased but now it means I will have to aim to get to the three mile barrier. Strangely enough when I came home I was met with this glorious rainbow.
This was week two of my Jenny Craig diet and I have to admit I quite like the plan. I have realised that I actually eat a lot of the wrong things and my portion sizes are to big. I have actually enjoyed eating more salad and vegetables. I thought I would be starving but actually the meals keep me pretty full. I have pretty much stuck to the plan apart from on Sunday when I had some wine and some cake (well it was my birthday). I was really pleased when I got on the wii and it told me I had lost 2 lb this week. I am really pleased.
