It is Halloween on Wednesday, and for Halloween I always carve a pumpkin. It is actually originally a Celtic tradition and the Jack O’Lantern is meant to ward of evil spirits. When I was little we used to carve turnips, mainly because the pumpkin as not widely available. It is much harder to carve a turnip than a pumpkin so I am quite glad we can buy themĀ more readily now.
This year I decided I was going to carve a dragon pumpkin. Last year I did a Club Penguin Puffle which worked well. I thought a dragon would look good in flame. I had a good search though books but all the pictures of dragons I found would not have worked well in a pumpkin. I wanted something with sections which the light could shine though. I ended up drawing something and carving it out. This is the finished dragon pumpkin.
What do you think?

ooh that’s fabulous, well done
Thank you. I must admit to being very pleased
