Bionsen Deodorant Review

Bionsen

A little while ago I was sent this Bionsen Deodorant to try out. Bionsen is not a brand I had tried before but since I started running I have found it important to have a good deodorant. I was interested to see what this would be like.

Bionsen deodorant is paraben and aluminium free as well as being hypo-allergenic approved. This is a good start as I find that the underarm area can sometimes be a bit sensitive.  The active ingredients are made from a unique blend of Japanese Spa Minerals which have been found to be nourishing for the skin. The ingredients are normally found in volcanic spas, and bathing in these is good for the skin .

BionsenOpening the top of the Bionsen deodorant I found that it was pale blue in colour, it reminded me slightly of a glacier.  There is no noticeable smell and it applies easily to the skin without dragging.

This is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant. This means that you still sweat, it acts to prevent the sweat from creating bad odours. Having said that I noticed that the Bionsen deodorant did seem to keep me drier than normal, even after a run.  It is very effective at reducing bad odours, I found that this keeps me smelling sweet all day long. It is a very effective deodorant and a nice handy size for carrying around as well.

You can find more information about Bionsen Deodorant on their website. It is available from Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. RRP £2.49
