A while ago I was sent some of the Montagne Jeunesse Face Masque range to review.  I recently got around to trying the Montagne Jeunesse Very Berry Masque and the Montagne Jeunesse Cooling Cucumber Peel Off Masque.

Montagne Jeunesse Very Berry

As the name suggests Montagne Jeunesse Very Berry is made from berries. It contains pressed blueberries and crushed cranberries which are rich in antioxidants. The blueberries are good for clearing troubled skin and cranberry is rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9 which help prevent premature ageing.

Knowing it is rich in these berries I should not have been surprised when I found  that the face masque was bright pink in colour. It also had a gorgeous smell of berries, in fact it smelt good enough to eat.  I smeared it over my face and looking like a pink version of Shrek I relaxed for the fifteen minutes it said to leave it on.  When I removed the masque my face felt much smoother and softer. It works really well.

Montagne Jeunesse Cooling Cucumber Peel Off Masque

This Montagne Jeunesse face masque is made from cooling cucumbers and citrus to remove dead skin and impurities. It is a peel off masque so you smooth it on and it sets to a gel which you can then peel away when you have finished using it.

The Montagne Jeunesse face mask is bright green in colour with a slightly sticky feel. I smoothed it on and waited. It did become much firmer while I waited and I was able to peel bits of it off, but I ended up removing it with a warm cloth as I was impatient. I think if I had left it a little longer it would have peeled off more easily. My skin did feel a lot cleaner and more refreshed.
