This weekend I got out the photo albums and had a good look though them with my son. He was completely fascinated to see pictures of himself as a tiny baby and I had to answer lots of questions about what he was like at that age. It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon and it was great seeing how much he has grown and changed over the years. My little baby has just now started secondary school.
We have so many photos which all are treasured. They capture him from the day he was born, when he started trying to crawl and when he began walking. It was really hard to just choose one photograph of him, but in the end I just had to choose this one.
I came into the kitchen one evening just in time to see my son vanishing into the cupboard with that cheeky look on his face, as if to say “Look what I can do now, Mam” For me the photo just totally summed up his inquisitive and happy go lucky nature and it made me smile. The dungarees he is wearing were also a special present from his grandparents, and even though they no longer fit we can still remember him wearing them.
Strangely enough I also took an after photo which I just had to share as well.
He was very careful not to shut the door all the way!

He he fantastic
Love looking at photographs, they are the stuff of memories and often you start looking at one photo and end up talking about a totally different memory that’s related in some way.
Its strange seeing how small he was then. It was a lovely way to spend a morning though
