Fushi Total Repair Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Recently I was sent some Fushi Total Repair Shampoo and Fushi Total Repair and Sooth Conditioner to review. Fushi is not a range I was familiar with so I had a little look to find out more about them. I was pleased to learn that they are an environmentally friendly company who use 100 % natural products which are free from parabens, Petrochemicals, and other synthetic products. I like to use natural products where possible as I am always concerned about the effect of chemicals on my skin. The products use organically grown herbs. The range sounded good but what did I think of the products.

Fushsi Total Repair Herbal Shampoo

PhotobucketFushi Total Repair shampoo is aimed at normal to dry and damaged hair. It contains calendula for its soothing and healing properties mixed with neroli and frankincense for toning and rejuvenating, Finally it contains sandalwood and avocado oil to life dull lifeless hair  to make it glossy and manageable.

I love the packaging of the Fushi Total Repair Herbal Shampoo, the black label with the pink flowers made it look very smart in my bathroom. The bottle has a flip top lid which makes the shampoo easy to pour out. You can easily control how much comes out and you don’t end up using too much.

The shampoo has a translucent brown almost honey colour and is a nice consistency, not too runny. It has a gorgeous smell, there are citric overtones in a musky background. It is not too feminine so can be used by the whole family. It foamed up nicely while I washed my hair and after use my hair felt full of volume and silky, without that flyaway tendency that it usually has. A lovely shampoo. RRP £15.26

Fushi Total Repair and Sooth Conditioner

PhotobucketFushi Total Repair and Sooth Conditioner has the same stylish packaging but this time the conditioner is white in appearance. Fushi Total Repair and Sooth Conditioner contains 88% herbal ingredients, it continues the same herbal theme as the shampoo with a mixture of calendula, frankincense, neroli and avocado oil. This means that when you apply the conditioner you get the same gorgeous smell as you do from the shampoo.

The conditioner has a nice consistency, it is fluid and not too sticky. I applied it to my hair and rinsed it off a minute later. When I dried my hair it was silky and manageable, without looking greasy or flat. I also noticed some of the lovely smell lingering on my hair which was lovely.  RRP £18.34

If you are looking for an organic range that works well and smells nice this shampoo and conditioner could be just what you are after. I have seen an improvement in the condition of my hair while I have been using it and would definitely recommend it.

You can obtain the Fushi range from http://www.fushi.co.uk, Nutricentre, selected Waitrose, Ocado and Dalesford Organic

Disclosure: I was sent a bottle of Fushi Total Repair shampoo and conditioner to review but was not told what to write and my opinions are my own.
