I was sent some coupons for YooMoo Frozen yoghurt in order to review it and I have to admit that when I was looking for it in the supermarket the names of the flavours really made me smile. I choose Nakedmoo which is just plain yoghurt flavour. You can also get Strawbmoo and Chocmoo in large tubs and in smaller tubs you have Angelmoo, Devilmoo, Strawbswirlmoo and Tropicoolmoo. Devilmoo is a mix of chocolate and natural frozen yogurt with chocolate sauce and brownie chunks. Angelmoo is plain yogurt with blueberry sauce and frozen berries. They all sounded so tempting and I was looking forward to trying some.
The great thing about Yoomoo Frozen Yogurt is that it is made from British milk and is suitable for vegetarians. It is also low fat so is a perfect treat. I brought the YooMoo home and we all decided to have a bowl.
The tub is lovely and full with an interesting swirly pattern on the top. The YooMoo was easy to serve from the tub and was not frozen so solid that I could not get a spoon into it. I served out three bowlfuls.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the flavour. It is lovely and creamy with a slight tang to it which is rather pleasant. Best of all it is only 102 calories in a serving so it is a guilt free treat. This could be easily jazzed up with fruit or different ice cream toppings to make more of a treat but I liked it plain. My son really enjoyed it as well, in fact he asked for more. My husband was not so keen but he does not like yogurt either so that was not really a surprise. I would definitely get this again and am looking forward to trying some of the other flavours.
Yoomoo Frozen Yogurt is available in most supermarkets. It comes in 150ml or 750ml tubs, the smaller tubs are great to eat straight from the tub as a special treat.
