eyeCANDY London is a range of nail polish that aims to give premium ranges a run for their money. There is a wide range of colours and you will also find the latest technologies and effects in the range. I love the look of these eyeCandy Flip polishes RRP £8
EyeCandy were the first to market with this idea, metallic tinted nail polish that has a dual hue finish. It will look different shades at different angles and when it catches the light which is a clever idea. RRP £8. They also have eyeCandy London Magnetic Wave Nail Lacquers RRP £10 and eyeCandy London Cracking Nail Lacquer RRP £6 in the range.
I was sent three colours from their eyeCandy London Nail Lacquer range to try. The range contains 14 different colours as well as top and base coats. I love the names of the colours, I was sent Fizzy Friday (orange), Provocative (bright pink) and Temptress (dark silver). The names are made me smile before I opened the bottle. I decided to try the Fizzy Friday and see if it lived up to the claims. eyeCandy London nail polish is made with highest quality professional nail enamel and has a high colour pigment along with the cover and drying times of professional brands. I wanted to put this to the test.
The bottle is a nice size to hold while you apply the nail polish and the brush is not too wide. The eyeCandy London has a nice consistency which makes it easy to apply and I found that it dried quickly. I was a bit worried that the orange colour of Fizzy Friday would be a bit garish and bright, but in fact it is a lovely shade. This is what it looked like on (bear in mind I am not very good at applying nail polish).
With some practice at applying this would look stunning, the shade is gorgeous. The colour dried quickly which was great, I hate waiting for nail polish to dry. I also found that the nail polish is very hard wearing, I have had it on my toes for over a week and there is hardly a chip in it. This is perfect for holidays, you can paint it on and leave it and not worry about touching up.
Disclosure: I was sent some shades from the range to try but all the opinions are my own.
