I noticed that Mums The Word had a new photo linky called Closer to Nature and thought I should join in. I recently managed to capture this photograph of a butterfly while I was out walking the dog and was very pleased with it. It is so difficult to get the butterfly to stay still when the dog is jumping around madly. The photograph was captured using my phone.

I am not sure what sort of butterfly it is as it would not open its wings to let me have a look. If you know please do tell me.
