Samsung Galaxy Note – Its in the shops!

The Samsung Galaxy Note is released in the UK this week (November 17th) and I am excited. It looks to be a great device, a large phone, a small tablet and it comes with an S-pen to allow you to jot notes down on the go. It was born from consumer insights and utilises the most powerful technology to combine the core on-the-go benefits of diverse mobile devices. I would love one of these, it really would cut down on junk in my handbag. At the moment I have a notebook, a diary and several pens. This would take the place of all of them and I can also use it to make calls and surf on the go.

So where can you get one?

They are available on the high street, in the normal phone outlet stores we all know. For example O2, Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U. You can also get them online. If you want to buy outright you can get them at Amazon and Play for example or you can look for contract deals with the phone outlets.

I am going to be having a look on the High Street and seeing if I can spot any out there. Are you going to buy a Note? Does it appeal to you or not? I would love to know what you think of them. If you spot any out there do let me know!

  1. I saw a Note today in the CPW, it looks lovely. I won’t be getting one for myself as i’m too scared to part with my iPhone but my hubby is due an upgrade next month so I might get one for him!

  2. My husband and daughter both have the samsung galaxy 1 – I would love a new phone and love their phones so yes I would consider buying one when I can afford to do so and get rid of my old brick! (I am doing something wrong when hubby and kids are more up to date than me!) x

  3. I have seen them and think its a great concept i would def wait a while tho to see if it lives up to the hype before parting with my iphone though :) x

  4. Not seen one yet, but it certainly seems to be very desirable. ….must get started on writing my Christmas Wish List!!

  5. Haven’t seen one, but then I do live on an offshore island with less than 100 people…might have to check the e-shops. Don’t know if I’m ready to buy one….I may be the only 30-something in the world afraid of touchscreens!

  6. No I haven’t seen it in the shops yet but to be honest I’m not that up on the different types of phone, my husband on the other hand knows loads about them, I wouldn’t be bothered about having one but he would probably love one

  7. I haven’t seen them in the shops yet but would have one in a minute as my old Nokia & old Blackberry are useless compared to this xx

  8. I have seen one in the shop today – i wouldnt buy one but if i had the option on my mobile contract as a free phone i would consider it

  9. No I have not seen one in the shops I just got a new phone recently so I won’t be able to get one but it does look like a good phone.

  10. Spotted it today – Mmmm It looks like an serious contender to the iphone – but which one is better, only way to find out ….FIGHT FIGHT

  11. I haven’t seen this phone, but it does look nice. I’m 23 and no longer up to date with what’s what, to me it seems as though iphone dominates, so maybe samsung will be able to change that?

  12. I haven’t seen any in the shops so far, but have heard lots of publicity surrounding it. I have clocked the small Samsung Galaxy, but this one is well better!! I would definatley consider buying it! xxx

  13. I saw this for the first time in the shops today. It looks very glamorous and hi-tech. I think it might be better suited to my husband though. He’s a gadget freak.

  14. I haven’t seen one but it looks good and i wouldn’t mind having one, but I wouldn’t buy it because I wouldn’t use it fully!

  15. I haven’t seen the Galaxy Note in the shops, although I have not been looking closely. I won’t be buying one any time soon (although I have heard good things about them) but I would consider buying one in a few months time.

  16. I haven’t seen these in the shops. To be fair, I probably wouldn’t buy one because of the separate pen. I had a tablet phone with a stylus previously and didn’t get on with it at all. I like to be able to use my phone with one hand and you just can;t do that when you have to hold the phone in one hand and the stylus in the other.

  17. I’ve not seen one yet but to be honest I wouldn’t buy one. Not anything against the Note especially, I’m just not a handbag girl (sorry!!!) and prefer to keep my phone in my jeans and I think this would be a bit big for that! Although the number of times I’ve put my phone into the washing machine maybe I should start using a handbag :-D

  18. I have a long way to go before my contract is up for renewal so don’t notice new phones…I do know ther is a new iphone looming though, maybe its just what you hear rather than what you see? It looks cool though.

  19. dear Santa,my children awlk away from me when i get my phone out in puplic.I`ve been really good all year,PLEASE,PLEASE, could i have a Galaxy Note for christmas?

  20. I haven’t seen it in the shops, but then again I haven’t been looking. I think it looks like a great innovation, though I prefer my phones more basic

  21. This looks fantastic and would be just the thing for my husband who is a bit of a Luddite and resists change. He attends meetings with his trusty notepad and has got so fed up with people brandishing new technology he has made a logo for the front of his notepad which says, “MY PAD”. Mmmmm! I need to drag him into modern times and this may be the answer!
